Snout, Leg Front & Top of Foot: (grey) Ch 13 Row 1: dc 2nd ch from hook, dc in ea dc around, ch, flip (12) Row 2: dc2tog, dc throughout until past two dc, dc2tog, ch, turn. Row 3: dc ea dc across, ch, flip Row 4-12: Rep last two rows until one dc is left, ch, turn Row 13: dc, ch, turn Row 14: 2dc, ch, flip Row 15: dc ea dc across, ch, turn Row 16: 2dc in 1st dc, dc ea dc around, 2dc in the last dc, ch, turn Rep last two rows until there are 18 sts, ch, turn (put a stitch marker with this row) (dc in ea dc across, ch, turn) until piece measures 12 cm in stitch marker. **Top of Toe: (8 tsp) Row 1: dc2tog in next two dc, dc ea dc round until past two dc, dc2tog, ch, turn. Row 2: dc ea dc across, ch, turn. Rep these 2 rows until you have ten places. Bottom of Toe: (8 rows) complete with gray or change to white Row 1: 2dc in first dc, dc ea dc across to last dc, 2dc in the past dc, ch, turn. Row two: dc ea dc around, ch 1, turn. Rep these 2 rows until you’ve got 18 sts. ** Bottom of Foot: (whitened) (dc in ea dc across, ch, flip) for 12 rows Heel: Rep out of ** as for toe shaping until ten dc left, (8 inches), subsequently dc2tog on ea end of next few rows, (4 dc left) then rep Row 1 of “Bottom of Toe” returning into 18 dc (7 tsp) Leg rear: dc in ea dc for six more rows (18 sts) Bottom Jaw: Row 1: dc2tog, dc across to last two dc, dc2tog, ch, turn Row 2: dc across, ch, turn Rep last two rows till six dc left, then dc2tog ea endings of each row until 1 dc left. Fins: (create 6) grey Ch 9 Row 1: dc 2nd ch from hook, dc ea ch to end, ch, turn. (8) Row two: dc ea sc across, ch, turn Row 3: dc2tog, dc in next four dc, dc2tog, ch, turn. (6) Row 4: dc ea sc across, ch, turn Row 5-9: Rep past 2 rows before one dc is left. Row 10: 2dc in dc, ch, flip (two) Row 11: dc in ea dc, ch, turn Row 12: 2dc in ea dc, ch, flip (4) Row 13: dc in ea dc, ch, turn Row 14: 2dc in 1st dc, dc across to last dc, 2dc in the last dc, ch, flip (6) Row 15: dc in ea dc, ch, flip Rep last two rows once again (8). Fold in half an dc around the border to combine sides. Fasten off.
Fold sock at toe stage, sew toe dart, join & sew heels dart. Sew either side to heel point, Sew white leg straight back to grey leg front to begin of bottom jaw shaping. Fold right sides with the snout and then sew side seams ONLY. Fold right way outside. Using white, black crochet 1 row of dc around the opening (including the base of the snouts) subsequently crochet 1 row of picot in each 2nd dc (*ch3, dc [s] at 1st ch, slst in next 2 sts*, rep *-* to finish, fix off) for the teeth. Twist fins. Sew button two rows down from snout combine.
